MVP to add JAMS for Windows .NET to Product Suite

New platform for Leading Job Scheduling System

Columbus, Ohio - October 27, 2003 - MVP Systems, Inc., the premiere provider of job scheduling applications announced today that JAMS for Windows .NET will be available during 2004.

JAMS for Windows .NET will have all the robust features and functionality of the original JAMS product which supports OpenVMS, Windows NT/2000 and UNIX/Linux.

Built 100% in C# and based on the .NET Framework, JAMS for Windows .NET will manage batch application integration and cross platform job dependencies by automating the entire life cycle of batch job processing, from the initial end-user request, to scheduling jobs, monitoring jobs for successful completion, and distributing the information produced by jobs.

"We chose .NET because it makes application development easier than ever allowing us to bring new products to market faster while ensuring the high quality, dependable performance that customers expect from an enterprise grade product like JAMS," said Bob Shackelford, Product Manager for JAMS.Net.

The complexities associated with running a professionally managed data center are significantly reduced with JAMS. Through its robust job scheduling features, JAMS integrates complex business processes across multiple applications and platforms and provides an easy way for different applications to work together. By scheduling specific tasks to be run in a specific order, JAMS allows IT organizations to implement business processes that depend on multiple tasks across different applications while managing dependencies between platforms so that business processes flow without interruption.
