JAMS for Windows .NET added to Product Suite

Columbus, Ohio – November 10, 2004 – MVP Systems, Inc., the premiere provider of job scheduling applications announced today the imminent release of JAMS for Windows .NET.

Built 100% in C# and based on the .NET Framework, JAMS for Windows .NET simplifies the difficulties of managing, running, and scheduling scripts or tasks across platforms which enables easy application integration and datacenter automation.

JAMS for Windows .NET ships with an Outlook-style windows interface which is used to define, run, schedule, monitor, and review the results of tasks or scripts on any system you choose.

“JAMS for Windows .NET is not a ported product,” said John Vottero, Vice President of Development for MVP Systems. “We believe we are the first enterprise class job scheduler to be completely architected on the .NET Framework. The product allows users and software developers to seamlessly integrate JAMS scheduling features into any Windows based application”, continued Vottero.

Earlier this year MVP Systems announced the .NET client which generated considerable interest and demand for the scheduler, so much, that the company had more than 20 licenses reserved prior to the product’s beta release.

JAMS for Windows .NET is comprised of three components, the Scheduler, the Client and Agents. There is no “per-seat” charge for the JAMS Client, which may be deployed in unlimited quantities by any customer using a .NET or OpenVMS Scheduler.

MVP Systems will continue to support both the OpenVMS and .NET versions of JAMS. A beta version of JAMS for Windows .NET is available now at www.mvpsi.com, the final release is projected to be available by January, 15, 2005.

JAMS for Windows .NET is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003. The JAMS Client and Agent are also available for Windows NT V4.0.
